FLY(er) on Android.
No store to wait for. FLY(er) installs straight from the web, sits on your home screen, and opens full screen like any other app. Same account as iPhone, same flights, same everything.
FLY(er)Where it happens first.
In Chrome, step by step.
Chrome comes with almost every Android phone. Here's the whole thing.

If FLY(er) shows an Install FLY(er) button, tap it and you're done: one tap. No button? Carry on.
Open Chrome's menu
Tap the three dots at the top right of Chrome.
Tap Add to Home screen
On some phones it says Install app. Either one works.
Confirm
Tap Install or Add. FLY(er) appears on your home screen with the crown icon.
Open it from your home screen
It opens full screen with no address bar, like any other app. Sign in once and you stay signed in.

No Add to Home screen?
Make sure you're in Chrome, not inside another app, and not in an Incognito tab. Updating Chrome from the Play Store helps too.
Is it the real FLY(er)?
Yes. It's the same FLY(er) as the iPhone app, with the same account, flights, messages and points.
Does it take up space?
Very little. It's a light install, and updates arrive by themselves. There's nothing to update by hand.
Moving to iPhone later?
Sign in with the same handle and everything comes with you.
